Meet Loki, he’s unfortunately found himself in need of a new home through absolutely no fault of his own.

Loki is a typical juvenile Akita and still behaves very much as a puppy. He still needs to learn some boundaries and how to settle in from over excitement. He will definitely benefit from further training,

we feel his new owners must commit to this.

Loki is a wonderful boy, he absolutely thrives on human interaction, with the right guidance he has the makings to be a wonderful companion. Loki is relatively strong on the lead initially, when something grabs his attention he can be a little bouncy he’s very intrigued by people and other dogs  he currently lives with a male and female dog but he and the male dog can be boisterous when playing and Loki forgets that not all dogs require the same level of play.

Our assessor found Loki as a super friendly boy and very welcoming. He was giving kisses immediately from the time they met he is a cheeky boy he stole her pen in exchange for his ball.

Loki knows basic commands, he did attend puppy classes however he got rather distracted by the other pooches in his class. One self taught trick he’s learnt is to fetch the Mail once it’s been posted through.

We feel he would definitely be a great addition to a new family with the right training and socialization in his young age.

Loki could potentially live with a well behaved spayed female after successful introductions. However, we feel that he does enjoy taking centre stage and being in the limelight, lapping up all the attention, so he would likely prefer to be the only pet. Definitely no small furries or children under 12 years of age.

If our lovely Loki is the one for you then we want to hear from YOU, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Please note Loki will be neutered under ARWS spaying and neutering agreement.
