Meet Minnie……. Part of the Minnie and Luna duo, these lovely ladies are looking for a forever home either together or separately.

Sadly due to a poisoning threat, these two gorgeous girls have found themselves in kennels under ARW’s care. 

Minnie is a young lady who is looking for a new home due to no fault of her own. She was raised with another female Akita and lived together most of their lives, but we believe for the benefit of the dogs they are best placed individually into no other pet environment. 

Minnie is very excitable and absolutely adores being fussed, even on a wet muddy patio she was very quick to expose her tummy for tummy rubs when our assessor met her. She has a tendency to jump up a lot. She did not mind being instructed to get  down and sat very nicely. Minnie reacts very well to positive reinforcement and can do basic commands. She is very gentle taking treats and can do some commands to deserve them.

Minnie would need someone with Akita or large breed experience to give her the time, patience and attention. Her new family would need to commit to further training and ideally be at home most of the day. Minnie could live with dog savvy children aged 10 and above. 

Minnie is currently in Blackpool but can be moved to other locations for pre qualified, (home checked) introductions.
